So, tomorrow...no today, its after midnight and my husband and I just kissed and toasted to our 4th wedding anniversary! yeah... thru the trials and troubles...but more news on that later...
Today is also the day I become part of a movement... at "my first strike" I told my mother. She told me she has been in many as well in her 35+ years in the DCPS. Now retired and moved on to another school District. It took me awhile to convince her about the contract, she was doubtful at first too.
Anyway, we are striking to make History and I have always wanted to make history... to be the Nation's educational Model! DCPS and get the highest pay in America. Have a better city from the inside out!!! I really believe in this...
